Who Needs Better Access?

Man with boxes
Everyone wants a home in the right place and at the right price. We also want the right features, such as a choice of bedrooms, a big kitchen or a garden.

Accessible features such as easy access, wide doors, an absence of steps, a convenient toilet and parking nearby also rank highly. These are features we all want but that are essential for some.
Mary and John
Mary and John need a house that's easier to get around if they're to stay in the community in which they've lived in for 40 years.

Caroline
Caroline is fed up of having to fold and carry her children's buggy because of the steps and narrow doors in her house.
Anne
It's not just the stairs that make Anne's house unsuitable. She can't park her car near enough and she doesn't get the view that the flights higher in the block get.
