Unrestricted Parking Nearby

Unrestricted parking within 25 metres

'Unrestricted'

This is intended to indicate a place where a car can be left legally, without payment, at any time of the day for an unspecified period.

It would include:
  • > Unrestricted on-street parking, indicated by a lack of any white, yellow or red lines on the road's edge
  • > Off street resident's parking
  • > Resident's parking zones
  • > Disabled parking bays

It would not include:
  • > On-street parking restricted to evenings
  • > 'Waiting only' bays
  • > '1 hour only' bays
  • > 'Residents only' parking where the people occupying the property in question would not class as 'residents'

Within 25 metres

This is 25 metres as someone would actually travel to the parked vehicle and not as the crow flies. This should normally be by the designated path, not across grass or flower beds.

If a shorter route exists or could be created on land wholly owned by the property for sale/let then this can be included. This does not apply on communally owned areas, such as those surrounding blocks of flats.

We do not expect a measuring device to be used to assess the distance from the property to the parking. With 3 average paces equalling around 2 metres, the distance would be around 38 paces.
